COURSE DESCRIPTION
The student who successfully completes this course must understand:
- Advance topics in MIS such as: digital transformation, digital ecosystems, innovations, strategic management, and strategic leadership.
- Artificial intelligence (AI-人工智慧) – Impacts on Enterprises.
- Big data analytics capabilities on business performance.
- Discussion on “business-management” issues related to (free choice but not limited to): 5G, AR-augmented reality(擴增實境)/VR/MR, digital marketing/advertising, deep learning/machine learning, robot/AI, IoT (物聯網), big data analytics.
Digital Marketing
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The objectives of this course are to provide the:
- Understanding of Digital Marketing (DM), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Mobile Marketing, and Social Media Marketing (SMM).
- Understanding Various DM Strategies and DM Campaign Types.
Practicing Building Digital Presence. - Practicing Digital Marketing, Content Creation and Content Curations.
- Learning the Applications of Online Advertising (or) AI in Marketing
Project Management
COURSE DESCRIPTION
(1) Introduction to: Project Management, Project Integration Management, Project Scope Management, Project Schedule Management, Project Cost Management, Project Quality Management, Project Resource Management, Project Communications Management, Project Risk Management, Project Procurement Management, Project Stakeholder and Project Process Groups (e.g., initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing).
(2) The student who successfully completes this course must: (i) Understand the genesis/origin of project management and its importance to improving the success of information technology projects; and (ii) Demonstrate knowledge of project management terms (such as: the triple constraint of project management, the project management knowledge areas and process groups, project life cycle), tools and techniques of project management (such as: project selection methods, work breakdown structures (WBS), network diagrams, critical path analysis, and critical chain scheduling, cost estimates, earned value management (EVM), motivation theory and team building)
